Bio

I am a beginner. A novice. Even at 41 I find it hard to believe I am experienced at something. I was an actor for twenty years, a profession which has "beginners" enshrined as the call to go out and do your stuff. Today for example I began learning how to cut holes in switchboard doors. Last night I learned some new moves in my yoga class. But it's all a continuum. Last week I learnt something new at kendo and half an hour later gave some technical advice to someone newer than me.

So this journal is in itself a beginning. Entry number one. And the first time I have taken on such a thing.
